D-Depression

Depression affects more women than men; depression may run in the family. Sight of depression includes insomnia, loss of appetite, irritability, seclusion and loss of interest in activities. Treatment may include minor tranquilizers for mild depression, antidepressants for severe depression and electro – convulsive therapy and cognitive therapy for severe or suicidal depression. Support from family and family counseling are very important.
