"Acne Anxiety"

You've dreamed of clear skin. But day after day you find acne staring back at you in the mirror. You're not alone. Women of all ages suffer from persistent acne. Why? And what can be done about it. First, you need to understand what causes acne and what doesn't. Poor hygiene, oily skin, eating chocolate or fried, greasy foods - none of these common misconceptions cause acne. In fact, acne is caused by a cycle events. Oil or sebum, is produced in the sebaceous glands, which lie just under the skins surface. As oil is produced, it travels up and out through the pores to lubricate the skin. But in acne prone skin, dead skin that would normally slough away collects in pores, trapping oil inside, as the skin continues to produce oil, the blockage grows, resulting in acne blemishes. Vigorously, scrubbing your face to keep acne under control and unblock the oil is not the answer. The best advice is to gently cleanse your face twice a day as part of a skin care system for acne prone skin....
